CELLINK Bioink is the first universal bioink optimized for 3D bioprinting of human tissue models with any commercially available and in-house developed 3D bioprinting system. As a polysaccharide hydrogel (non-animal derived), CELLINK is ideal for 3D bioprinting and cell culturing. The biologically relevant 3D environment of CELLINK Bioink, composed of alginate and highly hydrated cellulose nanofibrils with morphological similarity to collagen, provides mammalian cells with a milieu that resembles their natural matrix; while the excellent printability of this bioink makes it possible to bioprint complex, cell-laden tissue constructs such as a human auricle. CELLINK Gelatin Methacryloyl (GelMA) is a gelatin-based bioink that provides mammalian cells with a milieu that resembles some essential properties of their native environment. GelMA bioink is modified with methacryloyl substitution groups, which crosslink in the presence of a photoinitiator (eg. Irgacure 2959 or LAP ) and exposure to UV light (eg. INKREDIBLE 365nm UV Curing System), yielding a stable gel. Prior to bioprinting, CELLINK GelMA bioink can be mixed with a high concentration of cells with our CELLMIXER for a one-step bioprinting process.

CELLINK PCL is a high molecular weight (Mn 50,000) thermoplastic linear polyester derived from caprolactone monomer. This biodegradable polyester has a melting point of 60°C. CELLINK PCL can be used as a support to provide a re-enforcing structure when bioprinting load-bearing tissue constructs, such as bone grafts or osteochondral plugs, for in vitro and in vivo studies. It can also be used as a support material to provide a temporary scaffold for overhanging structures during 3D bioprinting. Supplied in powder form.
